Comment: I was both in inpatient and in a partial hospitalization program. Inpatient was decent, the staff was friendly and made me feel welcome. I was allowed and encouraged to have visitors, which was helpful. In outpatient I didn’t like my psychiatrist very much, she was dismissive of my previous diagnosis (despite the fact I was on medication, so of course I wasn’t manic). I also didn’t like one of the counselors. But they helped me by giving me food vouchers and bus passes. They also helped me with getting accessibility at school and an honored citizens pass for public transit. Additionally I was never proselytized or pressured about religion while I was in these programs.
