Comment: This was a relatively informal “home-style” inpatient program (everything’s locked down, but structured as a house envionment). I find that to be to it’s detriment. When male patients began fixating on me (which made me very uncomfortable, a staff member told me “don’t be naive, you know what guys want. you’ve got responsibility to stay away from them”. Which ya’know, was a pretty inflammatory thing. My family complained to the facility about said employee and she still works there. I was instructed to make sure there was a site between me and males, despite having done nothing. Food was not very good. We had to wash our own dishes which I thought was unnecessary exposure to things we could harm ourselves with. Nothing was structured very much. Only got to facetime with prescribing doctor- never a face to face consult. No activities other than talk therapy and I was told there are horses to look at next door, but that wasn’t part of my 15 day stay.
