Comment: The staff were incredibly rude, constantly denied people medications, refused to take us outside to the ten foot by ten foot “backyard” because certain staff members weren’t wearing shoes, conflicting information on the website and when asked directly about payment and allowed items, poor communication amongst staff members about policies, poor communication between staff and patients, scheduled activities were required even if not relevant, witnessed 3 homeless people brought in because they had no residencies and were refused phone calls to arrange pick-ups, taunted parents about never seeing their children again. I was shuffled around in rooms after they discovered my trans status and frequently accused of being “difficult” only after they discovered I was trans. I was told that my stay would last no more than three days and then on the second day I was told I wasn’t to get my hopes up for a full week and threatened for longer because I cried about it. Don’t go there. But at least it’s not Lakeside.
