Comment: (2003) Day-to-day was fine. Except they kicked the beds to make me wake up after they put me on sedatives. I was misdiagnosed (common), put on ineffective levels of heavy drugs (risperdone), never saw my social worker the first stay, and was discharged with no treatment plan. Return stay a month later was a little better, but the social worker violated my hipaa rights and insisted that I alter a document at the end of my stay when we realized this.
Type of program (i.e. day program, inpatient): Inpatient
Any other identities/marginalizations (i.e. race/gender/sexuality) that could have influenced your stay?: White straight female, didn’t notice anything.
